What made you decide to become a REALTOR®?
Prior to obtaining my real estate license in 2000, I had been employed for 16 years as a residential/commercial marketing representative with the local gas company. My responsibilities included working closely with area builders and developers to secure natural gas where needed. After company reorganization, I chose to resign my position due to an increase in my territory that would require me to travel. My children were young so my husband, Mike, suggested I study for my real estate license.
Provide a brief description of your real estate background
Mike has been a contractor in the area since 1990 and has built over 100 homes. With my background at the gas company and being married to a builder, it was the perfect match! Our son, Colin, is now a licensed contractor in WV too!
What one word would your past clients or friends use to describe you?
Skilled: I have been a real estate agent for 15 years and have consistently been a top producer. My experience has allowed me to form professional relationships with inspectors, appraisers, lenders, and my fellow real estate agents. I know how to get things done in a timely manner.
